the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes.
synonyms:the women's movement, the feminist movement, women's liberation, female emancipation, women's rights
I am all for women being respected and having equal opportunities. I am not sure how being a liberated woman somehow means showing titties...? I understand that women should be able to do what they want with their bodies. But I don't feel these women are owning up to the fact that, though they are saying they don't need a man: they are doing all of this for male attention.
Naked protests, pictures of breastfeeding, sex scenes in media, gyrating in sexual positions in music videos and award shows, etc. None of that to me screams, "I am woman-Hear me roar". It does however say, "Wow, I have an excuse to show my body and arouse men...but I can say its for a deep cause or for the arts".
We cannot keep blaming men for their toxic masculinity. We can no longer say that men only see us as sex objects. The world has evolved. Women are in control of their careers, bodies and behavior.
Most men will never have to be decent men, ever again. We are in the day and age of open relationships, cheating, non-monogamy, no titles on relationships. Men are getting sex from women, without commitment. Men are no longer buying women roses and falling in love. Women aren't holding men accountable to be men. They are letting them roam and be disrespectful. You know how many women come to me in private, crying over there guys watching sex scenes/porn?!?? Women are trying to be so "cool" with everything, in fears of losing the immature fucker they're datin/married to.
Our world is a Hit it and Quit it land. I commend all of the men who are still striving to be gentlemen. I know there are a lot of women who don't deserve a good man, but trust me, there are some of us Queens left that cherish you <3
Women will never own up to the fact that they do all of this for male attention. Women will never admit, they need to feel validated by male society. Women will never admit, they use their body parts and sexuality to keep their careers relevant. You are not a feminist. You are a common hoe. If you can't see how the way women present themselves has put an awful twist on men's behavior in relationships, context/plots of movies/tv, rap lyrics and the structure of families...you need to take another look.
I am a beautiful, curvy, sexy, progressive woman. I am an actress and business owner. I stand up for myself and others. I, however, do enjoy cooking for a man. I do prefer being with a man who makes more than me. I am extremely uncomfortable with nudity and sex scenes. I hate anything remotely near porn. And I am okay with the way that I am.
Our world is too forgone to give a damn. Women who have my views are regarded as uptight and sheltered. I say, fuck you.
